Art & Painting Storage Archive
Vibration-free vertical sliding mesh screen panels engineered for framed paintings and museum collections.
System Overview and Working Principle
The system consists of vertical panels (wire mesh panels with drawers) that move on specially prepared rails via wheels, sliding in and out between one another. The panels are operated by pulling the handle located at the front of each panel row.
Applications
Damage-free storage of paintings, pictures, framed artworks, historical carpets and textiles, and valuable museum objects.
System Advantages
- The system comprises moving vertical panels arranged sequentially.
- Archived paintings and pictures are protected from dust.
- Natural air flow between panels makes the system suitable for climate-controlled archive areas.
- Panels can be single-faced or double-faced, maximizing space utilization.
- The system allows 50% to 70% of the archive space to be utilized as net storage volume, with easy access to all points.
- An inverted suspension system on the rails eliminates floor tracks, removing tripping hazards.
- Panels are manufactured to operate easily with a single hand.
- If desired, all panels can be locked with a single central lock to secure the system.
- The system is custom-designed according to the archive room layout, ensuring the most efficient use of space.
- Panel surfaces are covered with Ø 4 mm thick wire mesh, facilitating easy and efficient hanging of paintings.
