Key Advantages

  • Provides up to 60% extra storage capacity compared to standard static shelving units.
  • Rubber gasket seals placed between cabinet rows effectively protect documents from dust and air pollutants.
  • Fully enclosed, lockable architecture provides enhanced fire protection and security.
  • Side-panel index reference holders ensure rapid document search and indexing.
  • Entire mobile arrays can be locked sequentially from a single central Yale lock.
  • Custom tailored manufacturing engineered specifically for your room layout.

Mobile Cabinet and System Classification

The system consists of serial cabinets moving on specifically engineered rails via wheel mechanisms, opening and closing to grant aisle access. Movement is provided either by turning the steering wheel on the side of each row or by pulling a handle. The mobile archiving system is classified into two main configurations: Row (Sıra) and Array (Dizi):

  • Row: Consists of a single-faced or double-faced cabinet unit or multiple adjacent units joined together (e.g., double-faced single row, double-faced double row, double-faced triple row).
  • Array: A series of consecutive rows aligned on the same track (e.g., a 9-bay array is formed by nine consecutive rows).

Mobile Archive System Types

  • Fixed - Mobile: The single-faced rows placed against the walls are fixed. In semi-compact systems, a double-faced fixed row can be placed in the center, and the mobile rows open towards this fixed center. Mobile rows glide on tracks.
  • With Covers - Without Covers: In compact systems, the fixed rows against walls are closed on the wall-facing side and open on the other. Intermediate rows are generally open (no covers). However, depending on operation, the outermost rows are manufactured with lockable covers for security.
  • Single-Faced - Double-Faced: Fixed edge rows are usually single-faced, while moving intermediate rows and internal edge rows are double-faced.
  • Steering Wheel - Handle: For easy manipulation, rows are typically equipped with an ergonomic steering wheel. For smaller, single rows, manual handle operation is also possible.

Technical Specifications & Models

  • Guide Rails: Manufactured from 50 x 16 mm St 37-42 solid steel flat bars. Rail continuity is ensured by joining the plates to crossbars using bolts.
  • Carrier Trolley: Profiled in 40 x 100 mm dimensions from 3 mm thick St 37 C.R.S. structural steel conforming to DIN 1623. Connections are fully welded.
  • Wheels: Manufactured from two 3 mm thick C.R.S. steel discs pressed in molds, compliant with DIN norms. Idler wheels are mounted internally, while driven wheels are connected to the trolley via ball bearings to minimize friction. (For loads exceeding 2400 kg, a 4 mm thick solid steel disc is inserted between the two sheet metal discs to prevent crushing and extend wheel lifespan).
  • Gearbox: Enclosed in 2 mm C.R.S. sheet metal. The sprocket on the steering shaft transmits power and motion to the carrier trolley via a ½” x 7.75 mm steel chain, utilizing a reduction mechanism to minimize required user force.
  • Steering Wheel: The central shaft connects via dual ball bearings to virtually eliminate friction. The steering core and three revolving handles are manufactured from high-durability polyurethane, with chrome-plated arms.
  • Transmission Shaft: Made of Ø25 mm cold-drawn St 37—42 steel compliant with DIN 17006, specially designed to absorb torsional loads.
  • Mechanical System: Carrier trolley wheels, chain gears, and bearing housings are assembled with pin connections, allowing them to be fully demountable.
  • Cabinets: Manufactured from min. 0.90 mm thick cold-rolled C.R.S. steel sheet designed for maximum load-bearing. Spot weld intervals are maximum 75 mm, shelves are perfectly horizontal and parallel. A specialized Yale locking handle with a chrome-nickel alloy finish is installed on the right-opening doors of the outermost cabinets. When turned, an internal rod mechanism locks the door securely at the top, bottom, and center.
  • Locking Mechanism: Multi-row steered systems are locked centrally via the steering wheel of the outermost covered cabinet. Handle-operated single systems are locked to the floor via a specialized front mechanism.
  • Finish: All components are painted with electrostatic powder coating and baked at 200°C for superior scratch resistance.
